    When multiple residents of a small coastal town report seeing a strange object in the night sky, sceptical local cop Kyle Grinham takes it upon himself to resolve the mystery. Knowing his boss - a.k.a. his mum - won’t take these strange events seriously, Kyle tries to make sense of it all by sharing his official recordings with Rupert, the man he’s dating in secret.

  • Episode Two: Testimony

    Kyle plays Rupert the rest of his interaction with the people who witnessed the object in the sky. Determined to find a rational explanation for what happened, Rupert worries that Kyle might push his investigation too far.

  • Episode Three: Suspicious Behaviour

    Kyle interviews Leo, who he caught speeding on the night of the incident. Meanwhile, convinced the local cops are useless, Toby starts his own investigation with Leo’s daughter Hazel, who has some surprisingly good intel.

  • Episode Four: Corroborating Evidence

    Spectacularly unimpressed with his efforts, Glenda orders Kyle to bring in town hooligan Nathan, and cease all other lines of inquiry. Instead, Kyle causes a scene at the cafe where Tenille works and calls on local churchgoer Fern, whose daughter he saw running away from the beach.

  • Episode Five: Classified Information

    After pushing Hazel too far, Toby resorts to spying to further his investigation. In the process, he uncovers multiple secrets that threaten to rock the town to its core. In a desperate attempt to draw attention to his cause, Toby decides to do something rash.

  • Episode Six: The Verdict

    Toby’s rash decision causes a media circus to descend on Durham. But when a brash news team links him to the missing person's case, Toby finds himself in hot water with everyone, including Hazel. Meanwhile, another witness reports being followed, but Glenda refuses to take it seriously.

  • Episode Seven: The Truth, The Whole Truth, And Nothing But The Truth So Help Me God

    Kyle has a breakthrough in the missing person’s case, but his relationship with Rupert has been pushed too far. Toby decides it’s time to give up - and makes a huge revelation. The fate of the missing person is revealed.
